Resources for Conference Speakers

Session Logistics:

Each session is 1 hour and 20 minutes. If 3 presentations make up a session, each presentation will have 20 minutes. A period of 5 minutes for Q&A can be taken after each presentation OR all Q&A can be taken at the end in the remaining 15 minutes. The remaining 5 minutes accounts for transition time between presenters. If 2 presentations make up a session, each presentation will have 30 minutes and can decide how the 15 minutes of Q&A will work. Each session will have one member of the Conference staff designated as a facilitator. Facilitators will ensure that presenters keep to the time constraints.

Tech Questions:

Each room is equipped with a computer and projection screen. You are also welcome to bring your own laptop. Rooms have HDMI and VGA cords. If you wish to use a Mac, we do have some dongles available but you are encouraged to bring your own dongle if you are able. If you can, it is also recommended to bring your presentation on a flash drive. Each session will have one member of the Conference staff to help with any technical problems or questions.
