Student Internships

The Blended Learning in the Liberal Arts initiative sponsors several undergraduate internship opportunities.

Educational Technology Services Internships (Mellon Liberal Arts Curriculum for a Digital Age grant)

  • Paid, 10-week, full-time summer undergraduate internships. 2 positions/summer.
  • Students with a strong interest and some experience with digital media, data visualization and/or educational technology will have the opportunity to increase the breadth and depth of their technological skills and develop the project management and communications skills needed for a range of knowledge-industry careers and academic work in digital humanities. Interns research and learn educational tech tools, develop digital resources for faculty seed grants, support conference media archiving, and more.
  • Additional part- or full-time positions may be available in the summer or over the academic year, depending on project demands.

Teagle and TIDES internships. (Teagle and  TIDES grants)

  • Paid, part-time academic-year internships and full-time summer internships
  • Student work on courseware development projects funded by these grants. Tasks include creating online quizzes, tutorials and other materials using e-authoring tools, researching and writing related content, and creating digital image or audiovisual content. Previous skills and experience needed will vary, but all positions offer opportunities to develop technological proficiency and experience working as part of a development team.
